Land is sold by the square metre and depends on
location.
Whether in Side or in one of the surrounding village
areas the building or planning permissions are different. For example
in Side you are allowed to build on 20% of the land area but if
you drive 10 minutes away you can build 30 or even 40% of the land.
Sunny pools, terraces and balconies are not included in the allowance.
The number of floors you are allowed to build also depend on the
area and or the building permission given for the building. This
must be adhered to. The addition of cellars and roof terraces can
add valuble meters to your new home. Outside of the tourist areas
the restrictions are less tight and buildings can be constructed
all year round.
Construction in the Side area is only allowed
outside of the summer months. Building work can take place only
between November and May (out of the tourist season). We can help

their own villa to buy the land as soon as financially possible
even if it means waiting to build.
