New golf course to be completed by the end of 2007.  We are pleased to advise that the next step of the plan in the construction of the golf course project is underway.  This is the building of a new road from the main Antalya-Alanya road to the golf course and complex.   See photos taken 12.09.2007.

    Built on a 80 hectare site, located parallel to and overlooking the sea from all points, the development will have 2 courses: an 18 hole Championship course 6527 metres long with a par of 72 and a 9 hole Academy course 1254 metres long with a par of 27.

    Both courses are designed by the celebrated golf architect Perry Dye who is very well known by professional golfers and who, together with his father, has designed over 300 golf courses worldwide including the San Roque where the final qualifying round of the European Tour is held and is notably extremely difficult. 

CHAMPIONSHIP 18 HOLE COURSE

As with most Links style courses, the prevailing wind of the Mediterranean Sea will provide golfers with the challenge they want. The 4 holes along the Mediterranean – Holes 13,14,15 and 16 – are dramatically placed in the dunes and will require skilled shots. Hole 17, with its small green and a prevailing cross wind will test even the good golfer. The 18th Hole finishes stadium style, with a large bunker on the right, mounds on the left and a turtle back green that will require the golfer to approach the green with caution. The course will be a challenge for the accomplished golfer, requiring some Scottish style “punch and run” shots and quilted fairways will remind the golfer of some of the famous golf courses in Scotland that host the British Open tournaments.

ACADEMY 9 HOLE COURSE

Very seldom does a golfer have the chance to practice the game of golf with their children on a course as beautiful as the par 27 Short Course. There are holes along the Mediterranean Sea and a true “Dye” Island Hole that will satisfy both the more accomplished adult golfer as well as the younger aficianado. This type of practice facility has never before been seen in a mediterranean setting. With the 300 days of sunshine, backed by the Taurus mountains and stunning views of the Mediterranean sea, the course will offer the finest in Scottish links golf, whilst still enabling the higher handicap golfer to negotiate the course and have fun. While on some courses the hot Turkish sun may deter some golfers, here the cool Mediterranean breezes will provide the golfer a pleasant oasis from the heat of the sun
